In August, we centered our monthly special around giving back to our community. We partnered with local Thirty-One consultant, Stacey Barnes, to provide students in our area with cinch sacs filled with school supplies. For each daycare and boarding pass purchased, Barks and Recreation would donate the bag – a Thirty-One cinch sac (a $23 value) – and Stacey would use her commission to help fill it. Stacey also appealed to her friends, family and clients and received donations for 100 bags on her own. We are so proud to announce that our clients helped her DOUBLE that and in total, we were able to purchase 100 additional cinch sacs (103 to be exact). That means that over 200 local students started their school year off with the tools necessary to be successful. With such a large number, we are STILL working on delivering the second set to local schools and students. So many thanks to you and to Stacey for helping us start the school year off right for students in Aurora, Nordonia, Tallmadge, Canton City Schools and (soon) others.
